Dessiree has fought cancer for eight years — through a 19-pound tumor, a hard-earned remission, and recurrence after recurrence — all while raising two young children and working as a respiratory therapist caring for other families' kids. Mother's Grace has helped with groceries, gas, mortgage payments, and a sponsored Disney trip for her children during her toughest treatment rounds.

This has been one of the toughest times of my life. I want to thank Michelle and the volunteers of Mother's Grace. Every effort you make makes a difference in someone's life.

Diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer at 28, Tamra is a mother of four young children. Her husband left college to become her full-time caregiver. Mother's Grace stepped in with financial support for everyday essentials — and for a holiday season that felt magical again.

Ericka spent two years being told her pregnancy pain was normal before doctors found a Desmoid tumor wrapped around her sciatic nerve. She met Mother's Grace founder Michelle by chance, and was approved for rental and mortgage assistance days before major spinal surgery.

A fourth-grade teacher and single mother of three boys, Sarah has fought a rare, aggressive lymphoma for twelve years — through two stem cell transplants, one from her own son. Mother's Grace covered several months of mortgage payments so she could rest and heal without fear of losing her home.

Joanna

In 2017, Joanna's son was hospitalized with sepsis, spent six weeks in a medically induced coma, and lost both feet. Mother's Grace helped with rent and groceries while she stayed by his side. Now an adult, he faces new complications, and Joanna — caring for seven children, one of whom has her own serious illness — has taken leave from work to become his full-time guardian.

Monique had already spent years caring for her disabled mother when her partner suffered a massive stroke in 2023, leaving her the household's sole caregiver and provider. Mother's Grace covered their mortgage and essentials so she could keep working and stay by his side. Today she's back at work, and he's on the path to recovery.

Crystal was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer days before giving birth to her son. Between chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and radiation, she's raising an infant while working to get back to the classroom she loves. Mother's Grace covered two months of daycare so she could heal and return to teaching.
